Darkness into Light London

Darkness into Light London Walks Officially Launched

On Monday 8th of April, Darkness into Light London committee members came together from all parts of the capital and surrounding areas to the launch the 2024 walk. Volunteers from Cricklewood, Clapham, Hazelwood and Luton shared ideas, discussed strategies and reminisced about previous years.

This year will be the first official year for the Darkness into Light Luton walk. It is very exciting to see, that 13 years on, we now have 4 active walks throughout the South East of England.

The Darkness into Light walk is an annual event that brings together communities in solidarity to raise awareness around self harm and suicide prevention. The walk symbolises hope for those affected by suicide and has become a global symbol of unity and connection.

There is still plenty of time to register to participate in any of our walks. To register, simply select the closest walk to you:

Funds raised from the Darkness into Light London walks are donated to icap and Pieta House. These funds are essential and assist icap in offering support, counselling and therapy to the Irish and connected communities in the UK. To find out more about the services offered by icap, click here.
