This is a list of our current vacant positions

We are always keen to hear from qualified psychotherapists interested in working at our centres in London and Birmingham. We are especially interested to hear from therapists who would like to work within our outreach services.

1. Have a demonstrable understanding of the needs of the Irish community

2. Are accredited with the BACP, UKCP or BPC

3. Have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience

4. Have a good understanding of working psychodynamically

We are currently not in a position to offer placements to psychotherapy trainees. However this is under review so please do check back soon.

icap is looking for a passionate and motivated person to lead our fundraising function. This is a vital role which enables us to provide much needed counselling and psychotherapy for the Irish community. You will be required to work 28 hours per week with an element flexibility based on the nature of the role. It is expected that you will attend all fundraising events, AGM and Conferences. If additional hours are worked, a time off in lieu system is operated.

icap is the only specialist British-based counselling and psychotherapy service supporting people from the Irish community who are experiencing emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety and stress.  We are committed to providing therapy for people who find it hard to access help, including those on low incomes, those facing disadvantage or discrimination.
